In this highly physical workshop dancers will experiment with pushing their bodies past perceived limits of speed, range of motion, strength, coordination, and endurance, as well as challenge their own held views on conventions of established forms. Dancers should expect a full-bodied rhythmically driven class and should wear sneakers, pants, and knee pads(optional). Check this class out on IG @abbyzandthenewutility for more info...

Her methods are in direct dialogue with the African Diasporic and African forms that have shaped her perspective as a dance-maker and educator. Dancers should expect a full-bodied rhythmically driven class and should wear sneakers, pants, and knee pads(optional). Check this class out on IG @abbyzandthenewutility for more info...

My dance class is a place where control and chaos meet in unison and where the technician becomes the artist. The residues of the classical and modern forms exist yet I include many contemporary elements such as task based improvisation. Conditioning is also an intricate part of class which is inspired by many somatic forms but is grounded in Pilates. Rhythmic and qualitative challenges are often used as feats to let dancers push themselves.

Mr. Gonzales teaches high energy classes with a strong focux on conditioning, musicality and performance. The warm up, with ballet at its core, is centered on a firm foundation of dance technique and emphasizes placement and strengthening of the body.
